Prepare and review your VAT return figures with confidence

Your sales, purchases and adjustments already live in Invoice And Tax. The platform calculates your VAT return boxes from the tax ledger, checks for gaps, and routes the return through a second reviewer — so quarter-end becomes a review, not a reconstruction.

  • Calculated from the tax ledger
  • Maker/checker approval

How does Invoice And Tax help with VAT returns in Oman?

Invoice And Tax helps you prepare and review your VAT return figures with maker/checker approval. It calculates the return boxes from the tax ledger built from your sales, purchase and adjustment documents, runs completeness checks, and records approval by a second person. You then file the return yourself through the Tax Authority's portal.

Outcomes

What you get

  • Return boxes calculated for you

Figures are computed from the tax ledger, not re-keyed from spreadsheets.

  • Completeness checks

Gaps are flagged before you review, so missing or unfinished documents do not slip through.

  • Maker/checker approval

One person prepares, another approves. The return moves through open, calculate, submit for approval and approve.

  • A traceable trail

Every step of the return lifecycle is recorded in the audit trail.

How it works

From documents to a reviewed return

Sales invoices, supplier documents and credit and debit notes feed a single tax ledger. When the period closes, you open the return, calculate the boxes, review the completeness checks and submit for approval. A second person approves, and the figures are ready for you to file.

  • Open the return for the period
  • Calculate from the tax ledger
  • Submit for approval, then approve

By role

What it means for each role

  • Finance team

    A calmer quarter-end

Figures come from documents you already issued and recorded, with gaps flagged early.

  • Accountant

    Review rather than rebuild

Check the boxes, trace each figure to its documents, and approve with a clear record.

  • IT

    No extra system to feed

The tax ledger is built from the same documents the platform already validates.
